Huzzas is the softer, more approachable reef break inside Cowaramup Bay at Gracetown in Western Australia’s Margaret River region. Sitting closer to the carpark stairs than South Point, it produces long, rolling lefts and rights over a sand covered reef and is popular with beginners, intermediates, groms and longboarders. One of the few spots in the area that remains rideable when south or southwest winds blow out the exposed coast.

The Break Sections
* Main Huzzas peak: Long, mellow walls that peel both left and right. Soft enough for learners yet still offer clean faces for turns and trimming when the swell is solid.
* Inside / closer sections: Even gentler reform peaks nearer the shore, ideal for first waves or longboarding.
* Outer reform: On bigger days the energy from South Point and Indicators can push through, adding a bit more power and length to the rides.

Best Conditions
* Season: Year-round, with the most consistent energy in autumn and winter.
* Swell: Southwest to west.
* Wind: Southeast to east preferred, but handles southwest/south better than most nearby spots.
* Tide: Works on most tides; mid often gives the cleanest shape.
